A volunteer program can open the door to many new and exciting opportunities. It also opens hearts and gives you the wonderful chance to experience local life first-hand, in addition to giving something back to the community.

Volunteering in Buenos Aires can be both challenging and rewarding, but one thing is for sure - you will come back with a real sense of personal achievement.

Our volunteers can participate in a wide variety of projects within the fields of community development, education, health care, and environmental conservation in Argentina.

The role that volunteers play during their program will be based on their individual skills and interests, this is why Verbum has worked to develop a wide range of volunteering options.

Participant selection

In regard to our participants, we expect them to have the necessary abilities and skills to yield a successful international volunteer experience: the ability to adapt to a new environment and culture, the required Spanish level or the willingness to take a Spanish course and genuine commitment to the host organization.

Volunteer´s fee

U$S 250.

A portion of this fee is donated to the organization where you volunteer.

DURATION AND DATES

You choose the duration of your volunteer program, but you should bear in mind that most positions are organized based on a minimum term of 4 weeks and a maximum of six months.

Please note that the placement process may take up to 4 weeks before your position is confirmed. We recommend that you wait for confirmation of your volunteer placement before organizing your flight. This is necessary to ensure that your position will be available for the requested dates.
